DANIEL KEDAR was born in Israel in 1961 and has lived in Turkey, Italy, France, the United States and Haiti. After graduating from Tel Aviv University, Mr. Kedar accepted a job in Haiti, where he met his wife, Maryse Pénette-Kedar. He is an avid photographer, publishing three books of his photography: Haiti Reflections (1999), Haiti Portrait of a Country (2003), and Haiti from Above (2004). After the 2010 earthquake, Mr. Kedar immobilized search and rescue teams from the Israeli IDF and coordinated water truck logistics. Mr. Kedar is a businessman, working in Israel and Haiti, and remains an active voice at PRODEV.
